The Yalumba Hand Picked Shiraz Viognier 2012 is a rich red wine, full depth crimson red in colour. The aroma opens with the fresh brightness of lifted spices, blackcurrants, cherries and lavender-violet florals and subtle white pepper hints. This medium to full bodied red wine is packed with dark fleshy cherry fruits and anise. This is an elegant wine with a tight framework of chalky tannins that exhibit its Eden Valley provenance. Match with roast duck.
