The Yalumba Steeple Vineyard Shiraz 2011 is a lush red wine that captures the cooler Barossa vintage. This wine has a cool fruit spectrum of cedar and fresh herbs mingled with eucalyptus and seasonal red berries, powdery spices and earthiness. Certainly not lacking in any concentration, it’s all about the fruit delivery. The palate is tightly wound with a generous selection of mixed red fruits, great acid and tannins, to see it cellar well for the medium term. Enjoy with rosemary lamb and roast vegetables.
