The DAOU Grenache Blanc 2014 is a light and crisp white wine with tart fruit and floral aromas. The wine was aged in previously used French oak barrels for a subtle creaminess that still lets bright fruit shine. Enjoy aromas of green apple, key lime, vanilla, casaba melon, and sweet alyssum blossoms. Clear flavors of honeydew melon, kiwi, and Granny Smith apple combine on the palate. A suggestion of creamy banana pudding adds a hint of warm tropical dessert. The finish is zippy and enjoyable.
