The Tenuta San Guido Sassicaia 2013 is a luxurious Italian red wine. The growing conditions and climate were ideal for this vintage, and that is reflected in the finished wine. Spring began late, but it blossomed into ideal weather that continued until the harvest. The grapes were picked by hand in early September and gently handled during the winemaking process. The wine was aged in French oak barriques for 2 years prior to bottling.
 
The resulting red wine is full of dark fruit flavors, with accents of herbs and a rich, full-bodied texture.
