"With elegant deep dark color, Cousino-Macul Lota Red 2010 is Maipo Valley in a bottle. It has a purple deep color with yellowish notes. In the nose you can find a wine filled with ripe black fruits, especially blackberries, plums, figs, and floral aromas such as violets and oak. In the mouth it’s very strong, with medium-high acidity. It’s very fruity with elegant and persistent tannins. The finish is long and round. Pair this wine with rib steak with fresh pepper and demi glace sauce, accompanied with truffle risotto or fig and mint rice."
