The Wayfarer Wayfarer Vineyard Pinot Noir 2013 is a lively and elegant red wine, brimming with warm fruit and forest floor. The nose shows sweet aromas of wild blackcurrant and sun-ripened strawberries. These fresh fruits deepen into intriguing notes of forest floor, licorice, rose petal, raspberry, and leather. On tasting, flavors of cranberry and cherry mingle with savory notes of cedar and tar. The tannins are mellow, with nice grip. The finish is long and luxurious, with notes of violets, vanilla, and fresh minerality. This wine is lovely now and will also cellar well.
