The Phillips Hill Valenti Pinot Noir 2013 nearly leaps out of the glass with energetic flavor and aromas. The nose shows juicy aromas of strawberry and cherry. Accents of sage, fresh orange peel, and a hint of spice add wonderful interest and complexity. The palate has an underlying earthiness and a streak of bright acidity.
This red wine would complement many delicious dinner menus. It would pair especially well with crispy duck pancakes, grilled chicken with a raspberry and rosemary glaze, or creamy mushroom pizza.
