The MacPhail Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2013 is crafted from a variety of premium vineyards from the Sonoma Coast. "Selections from the Petaluma Gap and Green Valley, southeastern Sonoma and the Sebastopol Hills drive the blend, which in this offering is quite simply pretty, with a medium body and floral notes leading to somewhat spicy, herbal, even earthy aromas that are followed by pomegranate, tart sour cherry, and just a hint of sweet cherry jam. It’s a wine with a sense of purpose, and that purpose is pure enjoyment."
