The Foris Pinot Gris 2014 is a lovely white wine that reflects its unique Southern Oregon terroir. The grapes for this vintage were harvested at night in order to preserve the bright, pure qualities of the Pinot Gris grapes. The resulting wine is classic, with aromas of Asian pear, a hint of coconut, and a suggestion of apple Danish pastry. The palate is plush and firm, with tart notes of peach skin and raw almonds. The finish is tangy and taught. It’s an appropriate end to a lively white wine.
