The Frog’s Leap Chardonnay 2014 is a crisp, clean expression of the Chardonnay varietal. Winemaker John Williams explains, “I don’t like most California Chardonnays. It seems the more highly rated they are, the less interest I have in them.” In other words, you can expect a unique and artfully crafted Chardonnay from Frog’s Leap. The wine is barrel fermented and aged sur lie, resulting in a product that is crisp, clean, and restrained.
