The Stonestreet Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 overflows with savory berry flavor. The grapes for this excellent vintage were grown on the western ridge of the Mayacamas Mountains, and they showcase the flora and fauna of the high elevation site. Intense aromas of brambly blackberry, black currant, smoky tobacco leaf, and sage waft to the nose. Undertones of white peppercorn and dried cranberry add spice and an interesting tartness. On the palate, plum compote, black cherry, Herbs de Provence, and vanilla bean come alive with fine tannins and a lengthy finish.
