The Columbia Crest H3 Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 is an expressive red wine, with flavors of dark berry that mingle with notes of spice and earth. Grown on the Horse Heaven Hills Vineyard in Washington, the grapes for this wine benefitted from a warm and pleasant 2014 growing season. Barrel aging in French and American oak lent a warm spice and unique character to this wine. On the nose, expect black cherries, blackberries, currants, and a touch of vanilla. Earth and mineral notes complement this bouquet. Deep berry flavors follow, with a soft tannin cocoa finish.
