The Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 is a warm and satisfying red wine that captures the essence of Napa Valley. The 2013 growing season was nearly ideal and the fruit ripened to lush and flavorful perfection. The resulting red wine is robust; it’s the color of deep red-purple garnets in the glass. The nose abounds with currants, chocolate, intense red cherry, licorice, and loam. The palate is full-bodied and tastes of blackberries, mocha, molasses, blueberry, and pepper. Hints of plum and graphite mingle on the finish. The tannins are supple.
