The Steele Cabernet Franc 2012 is a lovely fruity red wine, with moderate tannins and a nicely persistent finish. This red wine will be welcome at your next dinner party, and it pairs very nicely with herb-crusted leg of lamb, juicy beef burgers, or an assortment of cheeses (be sure to include goat cheese). This wine benefited from the warm, dry 2012 growing season. Periodic heat waves produced grapes that were lush, ripe, and brightly acidic. The resulting wine vintage is fruity, satisfying, and balanced.
