The Duckhorn Vineyards Three Palms Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 is a wonderfully mature red wine, with layers of fruit and savory flavors. Aromas of mahogany, marionberry, garam masala, and flint reach out of the glass in a unique, woodsy bouquet. The palate is rich and fleshy, with flavors of blackberry, dark chocolate, wet stone, and anise. The finish is long, and the myriad of fruit and stone flavors invite another sip. This red wine will be a lovely conversation piece, and it will be enjoyable to tease out the various flavors and aromas.
