Founded in 1858, Gundlach Bundschu [GUN LOCK BUN SHOE] – aka “Gun Bun” -- is a sixth-generation winery crafting serious wines with a seriously fun attitude. We are the oldest family-owned and -operated winery in California, located just outside the town of Sonoma where the Napa, Sonoma Coast, Sonoma Valley and Carneros AVAs intersect. Known as an “estate-driven” winery, on our 320-acre, sustainably farmed property we enjoy two distinct microclimates, allowing us to grow both Bordeaux and Burgundy varieties, as well as Gewürztraminer. We’re deeply involved in music and the arts, as well as creating unique, innovative content.
