"The J. Christopher Croft Vineyard "Uber-Sauvignon" 2014 is sourced from the Willamette Valley’s excellent Croft Vineyard. Unlike our other Sauvignon Blancs, which are fermented in stainless steel, the Über-Sauvignon is fermented and matured in 500-liter barrels made of acacia wood. Acacia barrels give the wine greater complexity and a more expansive mid-palate texture, without the strong aroma or taste of oak."
