The Giornata Aglianico 2013 is a sumptuous and savory red wine. The nose shows intense aromas of blackberry, rose petal, sandalwood and iodine. The palate is inky dark and rich, with flavors of blackberry tea and a rich, exotic spice. This red wine is excellent now and will continue to develop in the cellar.

The grapes for this red wine were grown on the Luna Matta Vineyard in Paso Robles, Califonia. The vineyard is certified organic. The dark-colored, thick-skinned Aglianico grapes went through a cool, native fermentation.
