"The MacPhail Lakeview Vineyard Pinot Noir 2013 is a classic Green Valley red wine; it’s fragrant and begging for attention. Light to medium-bodied and brickish in color, this red wine is a bit earthy in aroma, but provides a real contrast in the mouth, where it is pretty, with elegant, soft tannins. Aromas of fresh red berries stand alongside clove, violets, and rose petal. In the glass, bright red fruits are led by raspberry coulis, candied cherry, and cola. In all this, there are hints of sour cherry as well."
