"The J. Christopher Olenik Vineyard Pinot Noir 2013 is a luxurious red wine from another of our Chehalem Mountain neighbors. The Olenik Vineyard is directly adjacent to Lia's Vineyard. But it is lower on the hillside, just below the level of the ice age floods that deposited deep layers of sediment throughout the Willamette Valley. This alluvial soil produces wines that are deep, dark and powerful."
