The Cline Cellars Sonoma Coast Estate Pinot Noir 2014 is an elegant wine with subtle and pleasantly unexpected flavors. The grapes for this wine were grown on the Sonoma Coast in an area called “The Petaluma Gap,” which receives cooling coastal breeze during much of the growing season. This long, cool growing season produces complex grapes that create a distinct Pinot Noir. Expect a deep ruby color and notes of cedar, spearmint, lilacs, and dark chocolate. This demure wine pairs excellently with braised pork shank or blackened sea bass.
A newer vintage of this wine is now available: Cline Sonoma Coast Estate Pinot Noir 2016.
