The Writer's Block Malbec 2014 is full of ripe red fruit and spice flavor. The nose and palate display notes of bright red berry and black fruit, which combine with the nicely balanced acid and tannins. The light oak on this red wine allows the flavor of the grapes to shine though. Consider pairing a bottle of this Malbec with a variety of grilled meats and vegetables. A grilled flank steak with chimichurri sauce, grilled sausages, or a roasted lamb shank would all be excellent matches.
