"Winemaker JP Valot, originally from Mendoza, calls the Silvan Ridge Malbec 2013, “an Oregon wine with an Argentine soul.” When asked about our new release he adds, “Of all the wines we make, Malbec is the most challenging. But it’s constantly evolving and improving. I think we’re on the right path.” This vintage offers a lush nose laced with boysenberry and cocoa. Soft yet concentrated on the palate, the wine displays additional flavors of black cherry, vanilla, and cardamom."
