The Phillips Hill Ridley Vineyard Chardonnay 2015 is a light and perfectly fruity white wine. This Chardonnay is completely fresh, having undergone no oak aging or malolactic fermentation, and in fact it has some traits in common with a Chenin Blanc. Vibrant aromas of pear, honey, and wet river rock mingle with light notes of honeysuckle, pear blossom, and white peach. The mouth is crisp and refreshing, with flavors of juicy stone fruits and honeysuckle. A hint of minerals on the finish perfectly concludes the sip.
