The La Jota Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 is a powerful red wine that is full of character. Lush aromas and flavors of brambles, ripe blackberries, espresso bean, and toast are carried on a streak of gravely minerality. These inviting notes are a classic complement to the palate, which is full-bodied and nicely balanced. This red wine benefitted from an ideal growing year on Howell Mountain, where the weather was mild and dry. Artful craftsmanship transformed an excellent harvest into this cellar-worthy Cab. This wine will only improve with more time in the cellar.
